Skywatchers will have the opportunity to witness a Harvest supermoon and partial eclipse on September 17. The larger-than-usual full moon will be the second of four successive supermoons this year. The partial lunar eclipse can be seen in three phases - penumbral, partial, and then back to penumbral. The timings for US skywatchers in different time zones are provided.
