European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has nominated her candidates for posts in the EU executive. The nominees include Piotr Serafin of Poland for the Budget post, Raffaele Fitto of Italy for Cohesion Policy, Wopke Hoekstra of the Netherlands for Climate, Teresa Ribera of Spain for Competition, Andrius Kubilius of Lithuania for Defence, Valdis Dombrovskis of Latvia for Economy, Dan Jorgensen of Denmark for Energy, Kaja Kallas of Estonia for Foreign Policy, Magnus Brunner of Austria for Internal Affairs/Migration, Stéphane Séjourné of France for Industrial Strategy, and Maros Sefcovic of Slovakia for Trade. Each nominee brings their own experience and expertise to their respective positions.
