Revealed: The names not to call yourself if you want a UK Passport

Parents who want to give their children unique names may face passport application rejections due to copyright and trademark issues. The UK Home Office has strict rules on names that could cause offence, breach trademark or copyright laws, or contain symbols. Examples of names that could lead to rejection include Adolf Hitler, X Æ A-12, Queen's Park Rangers, The Artist Formerly Known as Prince, Khaleesi, Happy Birthday, Jesus Christ, Pudsey Bear, Coca Cola, and King of Ink Land King Body Art The Extreme Ink-Ite. The Home Office has since reversed its decision on the rejected passport application for the child named Loki Skywalker Mowbray.
