India skips vote on UNGA call for end to Israeli occupation | India News - Times of India

India abstained from voting on a UN resolution calling for an end to Israeli occupation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. The resolution was adopted with overwhelming support, with 124 nations voting in favor and 14 against. India was among the 43 nations that abstained from voting. The resolution demanded that Israel end its unlawful presence in the territory within 12 months. It also deplored Israel's breaches of international law and stressed that these breaches threaten peace and security.
