South Korea's LIG Nex1 has won a $2.8 billion order from Iraq to export mid-range surface-to-air missile defence systems. The defence company did not provide further details of the contract due to confidentiality. This comes after LIG Nex1 secured a $3.2 billion deal to export missile systems to Saudi Arabia. South Korea has been increasing its defence exports globally, aiming to become the world's fourth-largest arms exporter by 2027.
