Rabbi Yisroel Goldberg is reminding people that there are free synagogue seats available at Chabad of Rehavia services for the High Holy Days. The Chabad cultural center has rented a marquee to accommodate more people. Hotels in Israel with high occupancies during October will mainly be hosting Israelis who want to get away from their usual environment due to the ongoing war and fewer direct flights. The Theatron hotel, part of the Accor chain, is currently hosting around 170 evacuees, including children, and has extended their stay until December. The hotel is adjacent to a residential complex and has its own synagogue. Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion has invited heads of religious congregations to a unity meeting to be held on September 29 to discuss unity and heroism.
