Former president Donald Trump made controversial comments about Israel and American Jews at the IAC Conference in DC. Trump claimed that Israel would be done for in two years without him and suggested that ungrateful Jews would be to blame if he lost the election. Despite this, a recent poll in Israel showed that if Israelis could vote in the US elections, Trump would beat Vice President Kamala Harris by well over 60%. The main reason for this support is Trump's perceived strength in dealing with Iran, which is seen as the most evil government on Earth and the source of mayhem in the Middle East. Trump's tough stance on Iran and his actions to hold back Iranian aggression are seen as crucial in protecting Israel and preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. In contrast, Biden and Harris are criticized for their perceived weakness and appeasement towards Iran, which has led to increased regional terror and the potential for conflict with Iran.
