Two residents of Hadera have been arrested for their involvement in the attempted assassination of a senior intelligence target. Five suspects have been arrested so far, with more arrests expected. The target, a senior criminal in his thirties, was staying at a hotel in Hadera when the assassination squad, waiting for him in a black Jeep, was caught by police. This is not the first attempt on the target's life, as he was previously fired upon near his home in July. The suspects, residents of Netanya, are known to the police and have previously served prison sentences.
