Supporters from the political activist group Youth Demand spray painted the words 'Genocide Conference' on the front entrance of the Labour Party conference. The group is calling for a two-way arms embargo on Israel and for the new UK government to halt all new oil and gas licenses granted since 2021. Two supporters were arrested by plain clothes police officers. Youth Demand criticizes Labour for arming Israel and accepting donations from companies involved in arms and fossil fuels.
