Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer has pleaded not guilty to vehicular manslaughter after he struck and killed a pedestrian with his SUV. Klinghoffer's attorney claims it was a tragic accident and that he is fully cooperating with the investigation. However, the victim's family is suing Klinghoffer, alleging that he was using his phone at the time of the crash. The family has video evidence showing Klinghoffer on his phone just before the collision. Klinghoffer's case is due back in court on October 31.
