Border police officers in Israel have conducted a large-scale operation to arrest individuals who entered the country illegally, resulting in the arrest of 495 individuals and 44 suspects who aided them. The operation was carried out throughout the country in collaboration with various border police units. In the Jerusalem area, 350 individuals and 27 suspects were arrested, while in other areas, 145 individuals and 17 people who helped them were apprehended. The border police chief commander emphasized the importance of the ongoing security mission and the need to protect the citizens of the state.
