At least five people have been killed in an Israeli air strike on central Beirut in Lebanon. Hezbollah claims to have destroyed Israeli tanks and insists it has enough resources to push back Israeli forces. The IDF has announced that more troops have joined the operation to dismantle what it calls 'terrorist infrastructure' in Lebanese border villages. Overnight strikes in Dahieh resulted in multiple explosions, and two further air strikes targeted Hezbollah facilities in the area. Lebanon's health ministry reports that 46 people have been killed and 85 wounded in Israeli bombings in the last 24 hours.
