Today marks one year since the 7 October attacks, when Hamas gunmen invaded southern Israel, rampaging through communities and killing 1,200 people. Memorial services and protests have started early this morning across Israel to mark the anniversary. At least four blasts were seen in Lebanon's capital last night. It came after explosions hit other southern parts of the city over the weekend. The Israeli military released a statement saying its air forces had conducted a 'precise strike' on Hamas militants who were operating inside a command centre in the Jabalia area, in the northern Gaza Strip.
