Archaeologists discover 2,000-year-old 'Indiana Jones' temple

Archaeologists have discovered the ruins of a 2,000-year-old temple built by the Nabataeans, an ancient Arabian merchant civilization. The temple, located off the coast of Pozzuoli, Italy, is the first known Nabataean temple built outside of the Middle East. The discovery confirms the presence of a Nabataean community engaged in trade in the area. The temple features Roman-style walls and marble slabs inscribed with the Latin phrase 'Dusari sacrum,' meaning 'consecrated to Dushara,' the main god in the Nabataean religion. The underwater structure was covered by volcanic activity until it was recently rediscovered by archaeologists.
