Israel has launched strikes on the Lebanese city of Tyre after evacuation orders were issued. The strikes targeted weapons storage and manufacturing facilities, as well as command centres belonging to Hezbollah. The Israeli military claimed to have killed several Hezbollah sector commanders and around 70 fighters. In response, Hezbollah launched barrages of rockets into Israel, causing damage but no injuries. The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has resulted in over 2,500 deaths in Lebanon and 59 deaths in northern Israel and the occupied Golan Heights.
