Call of Duty: Kuwait withdraws approval for popular video game which features Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein

Kuwait has withdrawn approval for the popular video game Call of Duty, which features the appearance of the late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. The game is set in the 1990s Gulf War and includes footage of burning oil fields and images of Hussein and Iraq's old three-star flag. Kuwait has not assigned an age certificate rating for the game, effectively banning its release in the country. Activision, the game's developer, has cancelled all pre-orders in Kuwait and hopes that local authorities will reconsider their decision.
