Israel will send a delegation to Doha to meet with US and Qatari officials for Gaza peace talks. The delegation will join Qatari officials and US diplomats to restart negotiations for a ceasefire and hostage release deal. The US secretary of state, Antony Blinken, was greeted by Qatar's Emir as he arrived in Qatar's capital. It is the 11th time Blinken has visited the Middle East since the war in Gaza broke out a year ago. The Israeli delegation will be meeting with the CIA director and the Qatari prime minister to discuss options for starting negotiations for the release of hostages from Hamas captivity.
