A group of journalists covering the war in Lebanon were killed in an Israeli air strike while they were sleeping in an area outside Hezbollah control. The strike on Hasbaya killed three journalists, including a cameraman and a video journalist. The journalists thought they would be safe in the Druze-majority town, but the attack was deliberate and has been labeled a war crime. This is not the first time that journalists have been targeted by Israeli forces in Lebanon, but it is the first time that journalists have been attacked while they were sleeping.
