An international organised crime gang based in Oldham, Greater Manchester, has been dismantled after orchestrating a £3 million 'chop shop' operation. The gang stole prestige cars, including Range Rovers, Mercedes, Porsche, and BMWs, and either shipped them to the Middle East or broke them down for parts. The gang was linked to almost 100 stolen cars and was described as 'highly professional' and 'well organised' by the judge. The members of the gang now face an investigation under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
