Two Hyderabad-based companies, Lokesh Machines and RRG Engineering Technologies, have been sanctioned by the US government for alleged Russian ties. Lokesh Machines, a CNC machines manufacturer, denied the allegations and stated that they have been exporting machines to Russia since 2011 but are not aware of any machines being used by sanctioned entities. RRG Engineering, a privately held company, provides solutions in cybersecurity and counts government-run institutions as clients. The Indian firms are among 275 individuals and entities from various countries on the US treasury department's sanctions list.
