The ACLU plans to use legal challenges to invalidate Trump administration policies that impact the gay and transgender communities, as well as efforts to deport illegal immigrants and restrict abortion. The organization also intends to leverage its ties to lawmakers to push for oversight and investigations into Trump's executive branch policies. The ACLU launched 434 legal challenges against President Trump during his first term and plans to continue these efforts in his second term.
