Julian Doyle argues that the film is an authentic and accurate representation of Jesus Christ, satirising society's tendency to blindly follow leaders. He believes that the film is no more disrespectful to Jesus or Christianity than other creative representations, such as Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. Doyle's comments come as he releases his new book, 'The After-Life of Brian', which explores the life and death of Jesus Christ.
