Goa's tourism minister Rohan Khaunte met with Saudi minister of tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb at the World Travel Market in London to explore collaboration opportunities between the two countries. Khaunte highlighted Goa's tourism offerings and invited European and Middle Eastern travellers to experience the state's heritage and spirituality. The discussions focused on responsible tourism, cultural experiences, and unique sights that position Goa as a must-visit destination. Union minister for tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat also participated in the discussions, which aimed to find collaborative pathways to elevate tourism between India and Saudi Arabia.
