He emphasized that antisemitic attacks not only threaten Israel but also endanger the entire world. The leader of the Party for Freedom, Geert Wilders, criticized Amsterdam authorities for failing to arrest the perpetrators and called for the resignation of the city's mayor. The Israeli news agency TPS-IL reported that a Rabbi and volunteers from the Chabad House in Amsterdam played a role in aiding the victims.
