The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) suggests that Vice President Kamala Harris' loss in the US election was influenced by voters' opposition to the Biden Administration's Israeli policy. CAIR's lobbying affiliate recommended that Muslim voters support candidates who support cease-fire and arms embargo policies. An exit poll by CAIR found that Green Party candidate Jill Stein was the preferred candidate among Muslim American voters. CAIR became controversial in 2023 when its executive director made comments about Palestinians and Israel, leading the Biden Administration to disavow the organization. Emgage Action, another Muslim American advocacy group, endorsed Harris despite disagreement with President Biden over the Middle East crisis.
