How will Israel pay $5.2b for the latest F-15IA deal?

Last week, Israel's Ministry of Defense signed a deal with Boeing to procure 25 F-15IA fighter jets for $5.2 billion, to be paid for out of US military aid. The agreement also includes an option to buy an additional 25 jets. However, questions have been raised about whether US military aid will stretch to cover the latest deal and the extent of Israeli involvement in the project. Delivery of the fighter jets is not set to begin until 2031, raising questions about the nature of the deal and the issue of payment. The agreement also includes an option to purchase an additional squadron, the price of which has not been published.
