An Oregon man pleaded guilty to three hate crimes after defacing a synagogue in his hometown on multiple occasions. Adam Edward Braun targeted Temple Beth Israel in Eugene with antisemitic graffiti and attempted to damage the synagogue's glass doors. Braun admitted to selecting the numbers '1377' for the graffiti because it resembled the white-supremacist slogan '1488.' Investigators found evidence connecting Braun to the crimes and located items consistent with antisemitic beliefs. Braun has been arrested but has not yet been sentenced.
