Airlines suspend flights as Middle East tensions rise

International airlines are suspending flights to the Middle East and avoiding affected air space due to concerns over a wider conflict in the region. Airlines such as Aegean Airlines, Air Algerie, AirBaltic, Air France-KLM, Air India, Bulgaria Air, Cathay Pacific, Corendon Airlines, Delta Air Lines, easyJet, EgyptAir, Emirates, Ethiopian Airlines, flydubai, IAG, Iran Air, Iraqi Airways, ITA Airways, LOT, Lufthansa Group, Pegasus, Qatar Airways, Ryanair, Sundair, TAROM, United Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, and Wizz Air have all cancelled or suspended flights to and from various destinations in the Middle East. The suspensions range from a few weeks to several months.
