In the early 1990s, a million olim arrived in Israel and helped the country grow. Now, Israel has the opportunity to bring in another million Jews by 2025 due to rising antisemitism and Zionist sentiments. However, the state has done little to take advantage of this opportunity, even cutting benefits for new olim. The writer calls for a campaign to encourage aliyah and generous benefits for olim to attract the potential olim who are needed in Israel now more than ever.
