EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has proposed suspending the political dialog with Israel due to concerns of possible human rights violations in the war in Gaza. Borrell cited 'serious concerns about possible breaches of international humanitarian law in Gaza' and stated that these concerns have not been adequately addressed by Israel. The proposal would require approval from all 27 EU countries, which is unlikely.
