International Atomic Energy Agency chief Rafael Grossi arrived in Tehran to hold talks with top Iranian officials on Tehran's nuclear programme. Grossi is set to meet with AEOI chief Mohammad Eslami and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to discuss the 2015 nuclear deal. The deal, which gave Tehran sanctions relief in exchange for curbs on its nuclear programme, was abandoned by the US in 2018. Grossi's visit comes amid rising tensions in the Middle East and the need to find diplomatic solutions.
