Ava Dahan, a teacher in southern Israel, found purpose teaching English to students impacted by recent events. She faced discrimination in college for being Israeli and Jewish, leading to her removal from her sorority. Dahan joined the Masa Israel Teaching Fellows program to make a positive change for Israeli youth and kids during challenging times. She hopes to provide support and be a listening ear for the children she teaches.
