Jewish father arrested for using Nazi slur against rabbi on Facebook

A father was arrested and potentially faces charges for using a Nazi slur against a rabbi on Facebook. Rupert Nathan called another Jewish man a 'kapo' in a private Facebook post, leading to his arrest and more than 12 hours in custody. The incident highlights concerns over heavy-handed policing and the investigation of 'non-crime hate incidents'. While Nathan admits his remarks may have caused offense, he disputes that they were illegal or anti-Semitic. The police have sent his case to the Crown Prosecution Service for assessment.
