At least 34 people have been killed in an Israeli strike on Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. The chances of rescuing more wounded are decreasing due to continuous shooting and artillery shelling. The Israeli military said its offensive consisted of several strikes on what it called 'terrorist targets'. The ground offensive has displaced up to 130,000 people over the past five weeks, with 75,000 people remaining under siege with dwindling supplies of water and food. A report by Human Rights Watch accused Israel of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity by deliberately causing mass displacement of Palestinians in Gaza.
