Ukraine marks 1,000 days of war with Russia, as President Zelenskyy announces plans to increase production of long-range drones and missiles. The move comes after President Biden authorized Ukraine's use of U.S.-supplied Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) to hit targets inside Russia. The U.K. and France are expected to follow suit and supply Ukraine with long-range missiles. The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports that there are hundreds of known Russian military and paramilitary objects in range of Ukrainian ATACMS strikes. Putin's recent steps to lower Russia's threshold for the use of nuclear arsenals have escalated concerns over the eruption of nuclear warfare.
