Iran's uranium stockpile has increased 32 times since 2015, exceeding the limit set in the nuclear deal, according to the UN watchdog. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that Iran now has 182.3 kilograms of uranium enriched up to 60%, just a short step away from weapons-grade levels. Iran had capped its nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief, but reportedly resumed enrichment after the US withdrew from the deal in 2018. The IAEA confirmed that Iran has started preparatory measures to stop increasing its stockpile.
