A former Israeli Defense Forces soldier who was assaulted while advocating for Israel at DePaul University is seeking legal action against the school. Max Long, who was beaten unconscious by an anti-Israel agitator on campus, has retained a top Jewish civil rights law firm to defend his civil rights and explore potential legal challenges against the school. The Lawfare Project, the law firm representing Long, has previously defended a Jewish student at Columbia University in a similar case. Long hopes to hold DePaul accountable for failing to protect Jewish students and prevent violence on campus.
