A man who attempted a terror attack against Jewish New Yorkers in 2022 has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Christopher Brown, 23, was arrested at Penn Station after posting antisemitic messages on social media and planning an attack with another individual. Brown pleaded guilty to criminal possession of a weapon as a crime of terrorism. The attack was thwarted thanks to a tip from a local Jewish security agency. The sentencing comes amid a surge in antisemitic hate crimes in New York City.
