A study presented at a conference in Israel found that 70% of the victims of the October 7 massacre underwent surgery and 30% were in critical condition. The study also revealed that 2.5% of the injured were pronounced dead, a low mortality rate compared to terror attack victims. Many victims were declared dead on-site before being evacuated.
