Italian-Egyptian pornographic actor Elanain Sherif, known as Sheri Taliani, has been arrested in Cairo without any official explanation. Online publication of pornography is illegal in Egypt, which may be the reason for his arrest. Italian officials are concerned about the case, as tensions are still high over the unresolved killing of student Giulio Regeni in Egypt eight years ago. Sherif, who holds both Egyptian and Italian passports, was transferred to another penitentiary near Alexandria and has not been heard of since.
