Lebanon's Hezbollah fired heavy rocket barrages at Israel on Sunday, hitting a building near Tel Aviv, in response to a powerful Israeli airstrike that killed at least 29 people in Beirut. Israel also struck Beirut's Hezbollah-controlled southern suburbs. Hezbollah said it launched precision missiles at two military sites in Tel Aviv and nearby. The Israeli military said Hezbollah fired 170 rockets at Israel, many of which were intercepted. The IDF warned it planned to target Hezbollah facilities in southern Beirut, demolishing two apartment blocks. The EU is ready to allocate 200 million euros to support the Lebanese army.
