Food-tech startup is granted approval to market its products in Israel

Israeli food-tech company Imagindairy has received approval from the Health Ministry to market its sustainable, animal-free dairy proteins throughout the country. The proteins are identical in taste, texture, and nutritional value to cow milk proteins and can be used to produce dairy products such as milk, cheese, yogurt, and ice cream. The approval represents a significant milestone for the company and demonstrates the safety of their quality milk proteins. Imagindairy uses an artificial intelligence technique called 'precision fermentation' to create single-celled organisms that act as a substitute for whey and casein proteins found in cow's milk.
