The 12th Solidarity and Human Rights Film Festival will showcase films from Israel and around the world that address human rights issues. The festival aims to promote peace, democracy, and social justice. It will be held in Tel Aviv, Nazareth, and Sakhnin from December 3-10. The opening night film, Ellbogen, tells the story of a teenager from a Turkish family in Berlin facing job market rejection. The closing night film, The Other, explores the work of Israeli and Palestinian peace activists. The festival will also present the Emil Grunzweig Award for outstanding contributions to human rights in Israel.
