The ICC accused Netanyahu, his former defense minister Yoav Gallant, and Hamas' military chief Mohammed Deif of crimes against humanity in connection with the war in Gaza. The US has criticized the ICC's decision, emphasizing that there is no equivalence between Israel and Hamas. Hungary and Germany have also raised legal questions regarding the warrant. Meanwhile, UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy has stated that he would issue the warrants if Netanyahu or Gallant enter the UK, citing obligations under the Statute of Rome and the country's belief in the rule of law and humanitarian law.
