Israeli airstrikes have caused massive destruction across Lebanon, with entire blocks reduced to rubble and buildings destroyed. After a ceasefire was reached between Israel and Hezbollah, Lebanese are returning to their homes and witnessing the damage. The strikes were heaviest in southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut, where Hezbollah has a strong presence. More than 1.2 million Lebanese and tens of thousands of Israelis fled their homes during the fighting.
