House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries condemned threats made against Democratic lawmakers, including pipe bombs and 'swatting' incidents, just days after threats were made against President-elect Trump's cabinet selections. The threatening messages were signed 'MAGA,' but no ordnance was found at any of the targeted lawmakers' homes. Jeffries called the threats unacceptable and called for the prosecution of all perpetrators of political violence. Several other Democratic lawmakers, as well as Trump nominees, also received threats. The FBI is aware of the incidents and is working with law enforcement partners.
