Ramesh M from Madurai went to Coimbatore in the mid-1980s to pursue engineering. He started a small industrial unit and later focused on plastic moulding. After a customer blamed his company for a faulty tool, Ramesh gave them a new tool for free and gained their trust. This led to more orders and the establishment of his own foundry. Today, his company exports custom-developed parts to various countries and is set to become a 1,000 crore company by 2030.
