The Israeli military discovered an underground tunnel shaft near a Church in southern Lebanon and killed terrorists who were operatives in the Hezbollah Khiam ground defense. The IDF fired at the terrorists and eliminated them after they shot at the troops from the church. Israeli forces breached the ceasefire in southern Lebanon, conducting shelling operations and launching airstrikes. The truce between Israel and Lebanon has led to reduced hostilities, but Israeli forces have targeted what they claim were Hezbollah positions violating the agreement. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel is strictly enforcing the ceasefire agreement.
