Thieves in northern England stole a van containing 2,500 Christmas pies worth £25,000 from Michelin-starred chef Tommy Banks. The van was later found abandoned with false number plates. It is unclear if the pies were still inside. Banks urged the thieves to drop off the pies so they could be given to those in need. Despite the setback, Banks remains hopeful that the pies will be found.
