Three Israeli women have been named on the BBC's 100 Women 2024 list. Einav Zanguaker was listed for her advocacy for the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza, Danielle Cantor was listed for her role as a cultural activist in Israel and the Palestinian territories, and Anat Hoffman was listed for her work campaigning for gender equality and religious pluralism in Israel. The 100 Women series features exceptional women chosen based on their influence as women in the 21st century. Other notable women on the list include astronaut Sunita Williams and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nadia Murad.
